Homer L. Rankhorn Age: 77, May 29, 1938 - August 6, 2015

RANKHORN, Homer L. 77 of Clearwater, passed away August 6, 2015 in Largo, Fl.  Homer's wife wrote 11/1/2015: "Homer Rankhorn, member of the ACF, a long term dialysis patient, he was not able to attend any ty's in recent years and really missed it. He is survived by his wife, Martha; four children; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was at one time the Tennessee state Champ and the SC State champ three years running. I would appreciate it if you would include this short obituary in the ACF Newsletter to let the rest of the membership who knew him know about his death. I am sorry this is so late but I became ill 5 days after his death and have just come out of rehab to deal with all this stuff."  His obituary was published in the Tampa Bay Times on August 11, 2015. Homer lived at a number of locations during his life, Jackson, SC, Augusta, GA, Aiea, Hi, Crossville,Tennessee, and settled down in Clearwater, FL.  Homer played many Tennessee, South Carolina, Southern, and Nationals over the years.  His last tournament was 2014 Southern.
